Cameron K and Alex K, both members of the CMS Band, perform as members of “True Kings of Freedom” Friday night at the Northside Tavern in Cincinnati. Their band performed three Santana songs to a packed house and we’re very proud of their accomplishments.

Congratulations to the Conner Middle School students who were members of the 2010 Northern Kentucky Select Band. Conducted by Dr. Ann Porter of CCM, the students rehearsed Thursday night, all day Friday, then performed a concert Saturday afternoon in Greaves Hall at Northern Kentucky University.

Thanks to all members of the symphonic band for your hard work during the recording session on Friday. We got some very good takes of our pieces and I don’t think the symphonic band has ever sounded better! Thank you!
21 February 2010Band Festival Rescheduled
The large ensemble assessment for our district has been rescheduled to the end of May. This means that there will be no after school sectionals or rehearsals the next two weeks. PRACTICE!
